Taylor was raised by her grandparents, because of her mother’s addiction. She did, however, still have a relationship with her mother and would see her when her mother was capable of having a relationship with her. At times, this relationship would require Taylor to act more as the parent than as the child.
We chose to do a non-profit and save others from this incredible pain. That way everyone will remember you by thinking of all the great work that had been done in your name, in the name of love. We chose to carry on the love you showed to others when you saved lives, so we are just carrying on your work.
She was a vibrant, energetic, and beautiful young woman both inside and out. She wrote poetry, loved animals and had a compassion for those less fortunate. She had a special passion for the homeless since her mother had spent time on the streets due to a history of drug abuse.
Taylor looked up to all her siblings and admired them. She often wished her life was as easy as theirs, not realizing that everyone has struggles of their own that they have to deal with. She had been through so much counseling & was so good at talking with others but could never hear the words she spoke to them for herself.
Taylor was able to counsel her friends to stop cutting themselves, to see the value in their own lives and stop them from taking their lives but she could not see the value in her own life. She struggled with self-worth and self-esteem.
